My Hometown

Let me tell you about my hometown.

I was born in the Donbass region, in a small town Krasniy Luch in the Luhansk oblast.

 It  was founded as a  settlement Krindachyovka in 1895, and renamed as Krasnyi Luch in 1920.

Nowadays   its population is about  125 thousand people.

Several years ago Krasnyi Luch was a mining town, it had 7 mines and produced coal.

There are 20 schools, 3 trade schools and two technical colleges.

We also have a good  school of music and the Art school.

Krasnyi Luch hasn’t got any Zoo or  opera house, but it has got a modern cinema Russia, several park zones,  a sports complex and a  swimming pool.

There is the river Mius near the town. We can visit the museum of the Second World War called Mius-front.

I love my town very much and I am glad to be here.
