1. Прочесть вслух, перевести и выучить выделенные слова.

2. Задайте на английском языке 4 вопроса воображаемому собеседнику по данной теме.

3. Записать в аудиофайл и выслать в группу или мне на почту.

Travelling

1. Almost all people are fond of travelling. It is very interesting to see new places, other towns and countries. People can travel either for pleasure or on business.
2. It is always interesting to discover new things, different ways of life, to meet different people, to try different food, to listen to different musical rhythms.
3. There are various means of transport.
4. As for me, I prefer to travel by air. It is more comfortable, and, of course, far quicker than any other means. There is none of the dust and dirt of a railway or car journey, none of the trouble of changing from train to bus and then to another train.
5. But my relatives prefer to travel by surface transport.
6. People travel by train, by boat, and by car. All ways of travelling have their advantages and disadvantages. And people choose one according to their plans and destinations.
7. Most travellers and holiday-makers have a camera with them and take pictures of everything that interests them — the sights of a city, old churches and castles, views of mountains, lakes, valleys, plains, waterfalls, forests, different kinds of trees, flowers and plants, animals and birds.
8. Of course, shopping is also important while travelling. You should see my collection of souvenirs from different places.
